Damien Butler

Damien, Donnelly’s Managing Director, was born & reared in North County Dublin amongst some of the best market garden growers in the country. With a career spanning over 20 years in the fresh produce industry, Damien has built up a wealth of knowledge and a core understanding of the industry and its ever changing environment. Damien’s sole aim for the business is to “support our customers with premium quality produce, innovation and consistently great service. We have positioned ourselves as the best placed organization for both customers and suppliers giving access to Ireland and the UK”.

Lorraine Carroll

26 years ago Lorraine started in Donnelly for 6 months work experience and never left! Over the years she has worked with 3 generations of Donnellys, dealt with great customers and great Irish growers. She has seen many changes over the years, but the one thing that has never changed is Donnelly’s dedication to its customers.

Tony Denham

Tony has spent all his working life in the food industry. He has spent time working in small artisan manufacturing, up to being Production Manager in a large Bakery. Tony joined Donnelly’s in 2005 and today works as a Buyer in Wonderfoods, our Prepared Fresh Vegetable and Salad Division.

Ciaran Donnelly

Having grown up with the family’s passion for working with fresh produce, Ciaran finished his degree in horticulture at UCD and joined the family fruit and veg business in 2003 after 4 years working in procurement and trading. Having completed an MBA in 2007, as Managing Director, Ciaran is now focused on the immediate and long-term strategy for the business.

Brian Doyle

Brian joined Donnelly’s as General Manager in 2000, having previously been self-employed operating a Payroll and Accounting Bureau, providing services to retail businesses. Prior to that Brian worked in Commercial Banking providing finance and leasing to the motor industry. Since joining Donnelly’s Brian has played a key role in the strategic growth & diversification of the business and is passionate about providing exceptional service to our customers. Appointed Donnelly Group Chairman in 2015, Brian is also Managing Director of our award winning Crate Wash and Pallet Rental business - Glan Arís.

Alex Eivers

Coming from a farming background in County Meath Alex has always had a passion for working with fresh produce. Alex finished his degree in Agribusiness at University College Dublin and joined the fresh produce industry straight away in 2007 and has predominately worked in International Procurement and Trading roles ever since. Alex joined Donnelly’s in November 2015 to specialize in all aspects of procurement & to manage key accounts.

Ciaran Freeman

Ciaran joined Donnelly's in 2015 as a Customer Account Manager and brings 30 years of retail experience to Donnelly's and its retail customers. Previously Ciaran spent 20 years in Superquinn, ten of which were managing Fruit & Vegetable Departments across various stores, and also 10 years managing Electrical Retail Stores in Dublin. With this vast experience Ciaran works very closely with his Customers focusing on Product Range, Space Planning and Merchandising, helping to drive sales across their fresh produce categories.

Martin Gaffney

As our full time Agronomist and Farms Director, Martin is regularly found out and about in the Fields of North Dublin, and further beyond. Martin is responsible for working closely with our Growers in Ireland and abroad as well as growing crops on our own Donnelly Farm, ensuring the highest possible standards in quality Fruit and Vegetables are supplied to our customers.

Paul Hussey

Paul heads up our Wholesale Division in the Dublin Fruit Market. His family, from North County Dublin, have a long history in the fresh produce industry, dating back to the 1960’s. Paul himself started working for his father in 1996 and has vast experience in key areas of the industry, including wholesale, retail, processing and food service. Paul retains his passion for fresh produce and is more than happy to discuss and meet your requirements.

Irena Seliverstova

Irina previously worked for Wincanton with Dunnes Stores as a Transport Coordinator and joined Glan Arís / Donnelly’s in 2009 as a Logistics Administrator. Now as our Glan Arís Administrator she looks after crate and pallet customers as well as stock control.

Denise Walsh

Having gained a vast knowledge of the Retail and Cash & Carry Business through working in both Dunnes Stores Head Office and The Musgrave Group, Denise came to Wonderfoods in November 2006. She is Customer Services Manager – managing our very busy Order Desk and dealing directly with Customers.

Tony Whelan

Tony has spent most of his working life in warehousing and distribution. Tony joined Donnelly’s in 2011 as the Warehouse Supervisor and was promoted to Warehouse Manager in 2014 where he oversees the busy day to day operation of our Warehouse and Goods Inwards Departments. Tony works closely with both internal and external partners ensuring all our products are stored, assembled and dispatched in the best possible temperature controlled environment ensuring the freshest and highest quality produce available to our customers.

Neil Williams

Neil joined Glan Aris as Plant Manager in 2006, having re-located from Wales. He previously worked for 14+ years in a ready meal facility in the U.K. Since joining Glan Aris Neil has helped propell the business forward during his tenure, introducing a new asset tracking system to the business as well as overseeing a re-location of our facility in 2011 including the procurement of a new state-of-the-art, automated washing machine.
